The European auto market returns positive after six years.
In 2014 registrations in the EU-28 countries plus the EFTA countries (Iceland, Norway and Switzerland) increased by 5.4% to 13,006,451 units from 12,336,883 units in 2013. In month of
December the increase was 4.9% to 997,238 units from 950,266 in the same period last year. This is the sixteenth consecutive growth. This was announced by the ACEA. The increase in
December has been driven by the growth record in
Spain (+ 21.4%), followed by the
UK (+8, 7%),
Germany (+ 6.7%) and the ‘
Italy (+ 2.4%) while sales in
France are fell by 6.8%. Spain continues to lead in reference to
2014 , with a growth of 18.1% of sales, in which queues the
UK (+ 9.3%), l ‘
Italy (+ 4.2%) and
Germany (+ 2.9%). Registrations rather stable for
France (+ 0.3%).
FCA, European sales up 7.2% in December
Fiat Automobiles Chrysler in 2014 has registered almost 768 000 cars, the 3 , 5% more to 2013, for a share of 5.9%. Very positive results obtained by FCA to December with almost 56 thousand recordings, in up 7.2% and share to 5.6%. Excellent sales results for Jeep , which in the year that has passed the million registrations in the world, Europe is grew by almost 70% and December 189.7% . Always positive results of 500 , which confirms its leadership in the segment A, and Panda : together they got 28.7% share. 500L was the biggest seller in its segment, with almost 22% share.
