Rome The Council of Minister has given the final go-ahead to the legislative decree that reactivates the cadastral commissions, bodies that actually trigger the reform of the cadastre.
That “great reform”, so he called the premier Matteo Renzi, who will have to rewrite the angrafe estate of our country by surveying over 62 million properties. In particular – and this is the real novelty of this reform – the new value of the property in the future will no longer be calculated on the number of rooms but in square meters.
The government has assured that despite the inevitable revaluation of the estimates, this will not produce an increase in the levy on the owners.
