MILAN 19 November (Reuters) – Banca Carige has chosen the banks of the underwriting syndicate led by Mediobanca for the capital increase of up to EUR 650 million already announced.
The Institute announces a note pointing out that on 26 October following the results of the assessment comprhensive the ECB announced a capital increase of no less than EUR 500 million as part of the measures decided upon by the Board to cover the equity gap emerged in the tests.
The consortium of banks that have signed a pre-underwriting, is constituted not only by Mediobanca, which acts as a global coordinator and joint bookrunner, from BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and UniCredit CIB as co-global coordinators and joint bookrunners, while Banco Santander, Commerzbank and Nomura International will act as joint bookrunners.
Banca Akros, Banca Aletti, Equita Sim, Intermonte Sim and Keefe, Bruyette & amp; Woods, A Stifel Company will ultimately be the co-lead managers.
