Digithon: Puglia in a competition between startups to beat the crisis – Intelligonews

It ends today Digithon , an event that aims to become a benchmark for innovation related to new technologies in Italy. The event created by Representative Francesco Boccia took place June 23 to 26 between Barletta, Bisceglie and Trani . More than one hundred selected startupper, founders of young business realities, have addressed with presentations and questions. In total, about 400 of the creators of start-ups involved (mean age 27 years).

There was also a programming marathon, a hackaton, long a day and a half, which was attended by a hundred innovative companies, debates and meetings with the central theme of innovation and the digital.

At the end of the ‘ hackaton startups presented their ideas, condensed into just seven minutes, to domestic and foreign investors. He took turns on stage the Italian director of the Institute of Technology in Genoa, Vice President of Public Policy for Europe and the Middle East for Facebook, Richard Allan and the president of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia.
