Berlin demands that Athens will distance itself from the campaign promises of Tsipras. Writes Reuters, citing a document from the German government. Goal is that Greece return to growth, but to occur, the Eurogroup needs to clear promises from Athens on the reform front, agreed with the previous government.

Among the various points of the government document include, among others, the continuation of the role of the Troika, privatization (which instead Tsipras has been blocked), the respect of public sector cuts agreed previously, respect of the budgetary targets and the payment of creditors. Berlin for the Troika must “continue” to play its ‘role’ in the verification of the implementation of the reforms. Greece must fulfill its payment obligations to creditors as ECB, IMF, and ESFS, and creditors bilaterally. The new government greek must also recognize the independence of the Greek central bank, the stability fund, bodies employees in statistical and tax authorities of the country.

In Athens is required to achieve a primary surplus of 3% this year and 4.5% next year. The number of employees in the public sector should be reduced, as agreed, to 150 thousand units. The minimum wage should be reduced, and pensions have to be anchored more closely to the payment of contributions. The privatization of the port, energy infrastructure and companies apartments must be made with the aim of raising 2.2 billion this year in the houses of the state. Finally, according to the document, you must take steps to ensure that electricity prices for consumers and small businesses are adapted to the market prices. Under these conditions, it says finally, the German government is ready to strengthen cooperation with the greek, and to provide more help for the expansion of the tax administration, the management of EU funds and reforms in the public service.
