Greece, Tsipras: there is still no agreement with Europe, but the direction … – Reuters Italy


       

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – Greece meets the standards of the European Union and find a solution to its economic problems in the framework of European law.


       

He said the premier greek Alexis Tsipras, adding that the time has not yet come to an agreement but negotiations are progressing in the right direction.


       

“I am very optimistic that we will do our best to find a common solution, viable and acccettabile from all sides for our common future,” summed Tsipras during his first visit to Brussels after meeting the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Council President Donald Tusk and that of the European Parliament Martin Schulz.


       

“Our goal is to respect the sovereignty of the greek people. At the same time we respect the rules of the European Union. We want to correct this frame, not destroy it, and we believe that within it we can find a common soliuzione,” he said.


       

“I am very optimistic that the discussions proceed on the right path. Obviously, we have not yet reached an agreement but we are on track to reach an agreement,” he said.
