In February hourly earnings were unchanged from the previous month and are increased by 1 % compared to February 2014. This is what detects Istat. In particular, wages were up 1.5% trend for private sector employees and no change for those in the public administration. The sectors in February present the major trend increases are: telecommunications (3.5%), rubber, plastic and non-metallic mineral processing (3.3%), energy and petroleum and mineral extraction (3.0%). There are variations void in the trade and in all sectors of public administration.

Among the contracts covered by the survey, in February are not incorporated and no new agreements expired. At the end of the month the national collective agreements of work in force for the economic part relate to the 43.1% of employed employees and correspond to 39.9% of its total payroll observed. The share of employees in the queue for renewal is of 56.9% in the total economy and 44.4% in the private sector. The pending renewal for workers with expired contract is an average of 38.3 months for all the employees and 22.7 months for those in the private sector.
