MILAN, March 25 (Reuters) – Telecom Italy seems oriented to resume negotiations for controlling Metroweb after that rivals Vodafone have made a new formal step to enter the company that owns the largest underground network of fiber optics in Europe, at the center of national ambitions on digital.

Metroweb is a small company of tlc to partially control the public but the Prime Minister Matteo Renzi considers the cornerstone on which to base an investment plan of 12 billion euro for the development of the Italian high-speed network.
