Italian GDP travels toward the plus sign, word of Confindustria – The Messenger

(AGI) – Italy tries to stand up.
This is confirmed by the estimates of the Centro Studi Confindustria (CSC), which in the usual monthly report “Congiuntura flash”, provides for an increase of the Italian GDP in the first quarter by 0.2%. In particular, industrial production is estimated to rise by 0.4% in February (variation conservative), after -0.7% in January, mainly due to factors calendar; This will affect any variation acquired for the 1st quarter. In construction activity in January marks a + 1.0% (from 2.6% in December, up 1.3% the acquired). The occupation gave signals of recovery already in 2014 and will advance in live with the situation, Confindustria adds, explaining that this will help families to break free from the uncertainty caused by the crisis. Beyond the lingering credit squeeze (but there are slight progress), the overall financial conditions are much improved, thanks to foreign exchange, stock exchange and interest rates; the liquidity of the companies was supported by the payment of arrears of public administration, which has nearly offset the decline in bank lending.
