MILAN, March 17 (Reuters) – The car market in Europe (EU + EFTA) recorded in February, a 7% increase in registrations, with the group Fiat Chrysler (Fca) rising to double digits, supported by an Italian market that is better than the European average.
According to data from the producers ACEA, registrations in the EU and EFTA totaled 958,145 vehicles, up 7% on year.
Fca marked an increase of 11.2% to 66,133 vehicles, its market share is equal to 6.9% from 6.2% in January and by 6.6% in February 2014.
Among the major countries, Italy in February rose by 13.2%, Germany 6.6%, France 4.5%.
