ROME (Reuters) – The Commissioner for the Spending review Carlo Cottarelli has already asked three months ago the government to be able to return to Washington for his work at the International Monetary Fund for reasons personal.
This was stated by the President of the Council Matteo Renzi during the recording of the program Eastenders Rai Uno, thus confirming the press rumors that Cottarelli will leave office received from the Government.
“Cottarelli asked three months ago to return to the IMF in Washington for personal reasons,” said Renzi.
