ROME (Reuters) – The manufacturing business confidence falls in September to 95.1 from 95.4 in August (revised from 95.7). This was announced by Istat.
This is the lowest value since August 2013, when the index had registered 93.8.
The median estimates collected by Reuters among analysts pointed to a level of 95.5.
Improve production expectations (from 1 to 2 balance), but worse assessments on orders (-25 to -27). The balance for opinions on inventories remained stable at 3.
The overall index on the climate of business – manufacturing, services, trade and construction – down to 88.6 from 88.1 (revised from 88.2) in August.
