Alibaba record. The Chinese e-commerce giant fixed at 68 dollars the price of its shares, a figure with which it is estimated 167.7 billion dollars, or more than eBay, Twitter and LinkedIn together. With the IPO Alibaba collects 21.77 billion dollars, becoming the largest IPO in American history. Including the possible exercise of the options, the collection goes up to $ 25 billion, with whom Alibaba is the largest IPO in the history of the world. A figure with which it blurs the previous record of 22.1 billion dollars held other Chinese Agricultural Bank of China.

For banks Alibaba is a test to the appetite of the market towards technology companies. The IPO of Alibaba seems to be able to bring back the euphoria of the dotcom bubble, even if, according to observers, hi tech companies now are more solid than those of the 2000s
