(AGI) – lackluster day for Fiat, which confirms a rather modest performance (-0.13%) in Piazza Affari, after the data on registrations in the EU.
The Chrysler Group Fiat Automobiles has in fact reported an increase in registrations of 3.2% in July, but sales have subsequently sold 2.7% in August. A summer light and shadow, then, in the face of a market that grew by 5.6% in July and 1.8% in August. The comparison of the eight months do not bode well for the house of the Italian-American car, which marks an increase of 2.1% compared to 5.8% of the market. The market share of Fiat has dropped to 6%. Fiat has also admitted that it is “mixed results”, but cites the result in “high growth” of the Jeep brand (+ 48.1% and + 45.2% in July to August). Once again, 500 and Panda are the best selling cars in the segment with a market share of 31.45% set in July and 29.2% in the first eight months of the year.
