Telecom Italy (-1%) despite weak strategic agreement with Mediaset (-0.5%), board of directors today accounts SEM1

          

Start by sitting weak for Telecom Italy (-1 %) on the day of the board to approve the first-half figures. Recall the recent rumors of Bloomberg that today’s board of Telecom Italy could consider bringing to merge the division with OpenAccess wholesale activities to avoid an antitrust fine that could reach 4 billion euro. According to Bloomberg Telecom may have posted provisions for possible antitrust sanctions in the accounts in the second quarter.
