ATHENS (Reuters) – The head of the Greek government Alexis Tsipras has called for an urgent meeting this evening to discuss the government’s rescue plan.
This was reported by a minister of the executive greek saying “I am going there now.”
The Economy Minister Yanis Varoufakis has instead said that tomorrow’s meeting of the Eurogroup will try to converge on an agreement that includes the debt and the refinancing. He added not see reasons why tomorrow there should be an agreement.
The minister added that the government has rejected the idea of greek a bridge loan for a period of five months, brought by the creditors, to have more time to define the reform plan.
An official greek, who spoke with Reuters, he said the government was an ultimatum of 24 hours to accept a hard floor.
