A new black smoke. The decrees of the reform of the tax authorities were not even approved yesterday by the cabinet. It discusses this issue again Friday, in a meeting at the last minute the government, the last possible date before the deadline of 27 June, the dead line given by Parliament to the government to bring home the measures to implement the relevant tax. An obstacle course. Yesterday it was confirmed the choice of trashing, at least for the moment, two important pieces of the reform: the new land registry with the transition to market values of the properties, and the code of the games.
The first measure Matteo Renzi explained that this will be discussed later, after the revision of IMU and Tasi with the arrival of new local tax. Although the decree was to invariance of revenue there was a risk, said the premier, who was perceived by the public as a new tax increase on home. All shifted to Friday, however, the other five decrees on the agenda of the Council of Ministers: penalties, collection, reform of the tax agencies, litigation and monitoring evasion. Why this shift? Renzi has generally spoken of the need to “file the texts,” to avoid further incidents like the one on Christmas Eve last year, when the government approved the text with the non-punishment of tax fraud of less than 3% of the income.
