Tsipras: we do not accept ultimatums nor blackmail – The Messenger

(AGI) – Harsh words between Premier greek Alexis Tsipras and his partner, after yet another ultimatum launched by Greece’s creditors, which It provides for the immediate implementation of the measures required (and reform) for a consideration of € 1.8 billion immediately and the extension of the maturity of the debt repayments of five months. The tones are back to light after European sources have urged the government greek to make a “small step forward”, indispettendo the Premier, who responded with equally harsh words: “I do not accept ultimatums or blackmail.”

From Angela Merkel arrived in Athens clear demands to accept the offer and the Chancellor spoke of “extraordinarily generous offer.” The possibility that Greece say yes are minimal for the German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, who spoke of a 50% probability that Athens accept the agreement. Meanwhile, the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker continues to say “quite optimistic”, but “not totally optimistic”. The extraordinary meeting of the Eurogroup in tomorrow afternoon was brought forward to 14 (Italian time).
