The plan Acea 2.3 billion investment to become the multi-utility … – The Messenger

Investment 2.3 billion between 2015 and 2019 and an EBITDA (ie profit before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization) which at year-end is expected to bring 819 million, 20 percent more than the level of 2014. These are the main points of the business plan of Acea approved by the Management Board. But beyond the numbers, the company stands a Roman qualitative ambitious goal: to become “the first all-digital multi-utility”, as explained by the president Catia Tomassetti. A Acea 2.0, which aims to maintain its role in the energy, while extending its range of action in the water sector and the waste.

In particular as regards the goal is to get water a single Ato Lazio and consolidate its presence in Tuscany Umbria and Campania. Acea then wants to become the third national operator in the field of waste treatment and will pursue this goal through the completion of the third line of the WTE plant of San Vittore and the possible revamping of other systems.

The efficiency will be the theme of the plan, an improvement of 70 million in 2019, which, as explained by the CEO Alberto Irace, will be achieved “through a massive transformation of Acea based on the introduction of technology and the massive re-engineering processes “. Irace added that the company is ready to do its part “to promote and implement the process of consolidation among utilities in Central and Southern Italy, if and when the levels of government concerned actually move in this direction.”
