the Istat basket for inflation – To represent the new consumption habits of households in 2016 entering the tattoo, vegetable drinks, short pants men , the girl leggings, bulb led, the catch-dust cloths, services integrated TV, Internet and voice and university accommodation. The survey also boasts of used car prices and the electric drill. They come out, however, bunks and sleeping cars. In 2015 the elementary products considered by baskets for the entire resident population (Nic) and for the families of workers and employees (IOF) were 1,457, grouped into 901 products, in turn collected in 400 aggregates.
In 2016, the weighting structure upgrade entailed, unlike last year, an increase, though slight, of the weight of the goods in Nic basket (from 53,55% to 53,72% ), with a simultaneous reduction of the services sector (from 46,45% to 46,28%). This is mainly attributable to the increase in the weight of durable and unprocessed food prices and the decrease in the weight of services related to transport. Considering the expenditure divisions, the most significant increases in weight concern receptive and restaurant services and other goods and services. The most significant declines instead affecting the transport division followed by furniture, equipment and services for the home.
