More permanent contracts with decontribution: INPS Data on precarious photographing the effect of the incentives and the Jobs Act on new hires.

The total number of new contracts increased by 11.1%. In the face of the open-ended, there was a modest contracted of other contracts (a term, intermittent, training, administration), which were 158 thousand less than in 2014: the biggest drop concerned the ‘ training (- 20.3%). A dynamic that, according to the INPS analysis, is not so much due to a decline in total demand for different types of contracts from permanent contracts as the growth change towards the indefinite: + 49.4% for steps forward contracts, up 23.2% from apprenticeships.

The number of new contracts exceeded during 2015 the number of closures: the balance is positive for 605mila 971 units. Same thing with regard to the just-ended relationships: + 129 euro 764mila. The INPS also measures the relevance of ‘ contribution exemption : on over 2.4 million activations, the incentives are 1.44 million contracts, 61% of the total. We recall that in 2015, in addition to the contributory benefit, the Jobs Act , reformed the permanent contract introducing the increasing protections (with more flexible rules on dismissal).
