Granarolo is financing the working capital with the sale of the stock hams for 10 mln – BeBeez

gennariWhile you study a bond from 40-60 million euro, the Granarolo announced yesterday an original sale of the stock of prosciutto di Parma DOP to 10 million, organized by Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank and Crédit Agricole Cariparma, aimed at the finazniamento in net working capital.

In detail, the operation which, together with the proceeds of the bond, will allow the group food of Bologna to optimize their financial structure in view of new acquisition transactions, regarding the sale of the stock of more than 100 thousand hams with different levels of maturation, which are owned by the Plants Gennari (100% Group Granarolo).

Granarolo, controlled by the cooperatives of the sector and participated in the 19,78% from Intesa Sanpaolo, in essence sells the hams to Italstock srl, a company vehicle is not financial, controlled by the bank, which at the same time signed with Granarolo a management contract for 12 months of the same stock with Granarolo, that the expiration of the 12 months, hasoption to purchase of the warehouse. The bank, in turn, has entered into an agreement for the same maturity, a contract of sale to an operator of the large-scale distribution, conditional on the non-exercise of the option to repurchase part of the Granarolo.
