IRS: the weight of local taxes in Italian companies – TGCOM

– As certified by the UIL – the increase in local taxes paid by households (IMU, TASI, TARI, additional regional and municipal income tax) occurred between 2013 and 2015 – is coupled with the increase in local taxes paid by Italian companies highlighted by a recent analysis of Confartigianato.

Fisco: the weight of local taxes in Italian companies

According to data collected by ITWorking processed by Confartigianato, in 2014 small business owners have poured in on average 11,164 euro state coffers for the payment of IRAP, the additional municipal and regional income tax, and the IMU TASI.

Overall, the small Italian companies – the survey considers a company composed of two independent workers and three full-time employees with a production building owned – have paid 70 billion euro in taxes: 29, 5% more than the 54.5 billion in 2011.

the weight of the tax varies from region to region: the study points out that in Campania, Calabria and Lazio, the tax deduction is well over 12 thousand euro the year, fluctuating between 12,547 euro and 12,305 euro from Campania Lazio. While the Valle d’Aosta, Sardinia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia ‘offer’ tax treatment “cheaper”, asking respectively for small businesses an average outlay of 8,216, 9,467 and 9,648 Euros per year.

The fees thus represent a considerable financial commitment for Italians entrepreneurs. According to the report Paying taxes 2015 the World Bank and PwC relative to 2014, the overall tax burden for businesses – synthesized in the indicator total tax rate, which does not represent the tax burden – it is equal to 64, 8% of commercial profits: an improvement compared to 2013, but still higher than the European average of 40.6%.

On the occasion of an investigation Confcommercio-Format Research, 34.8% of Italian entrepreneurs has indicated in taxes one of the main difficulties to be overcome for those who want to start a business. Hardly surprising, though. Widespread reports periodically from the main Italian and international organizations (World Bank, International Monetary Fund …) emphasized the excessive burden of taxation and bureaucracy in our country.
