in March the climate of consumer confidence improves “slightly” while decreasing that of business. In manufacturing companies better assessments on orders
The estimates refer to economic, current and future of consumer confidence increased (respectively, 142.9 to 141.8, from 110.7 to 111.1 and 120.6 to 120.4), while the personal component shows a slight decrease (105.7 to 105.8). Improve both judgments is the expectations on the current economic situation of the country (to -34 from -37 and 5 on 4, respectively). Judgments over the past 12 months prices and expectations over the next 12 months go down (to -36 from -26 and to -30 from -20). Do not change compared with the previous month, unemployment expectations (the balance to 12). In manufacturing companies improve the assessment on orders (to -13 from -14), the production expectations remained stable (9), while judgments about stocks go to 4 from 3. In construction worse assessments on orders and / or plans construction (to -37 from -35) and remain stable employment expectations (-7), continues to Istat. In services drop the judgments and expectations for orders (-1 to 7 and 2 to 7, the respective balances) instead improve expectations on the Italian economy (from 5 to 7). In the retail trade worsens the balance of opinions on the current sale (5 from 13), increases one related to expectations of future sales (28 to 19); inventories (from 4 to 11) in accumulation are judged.
