The workers of Almaviva Contact busy call center via Marcellini in Palermo, where is located one of the two branches of the company against the plan to transfer the business of 150 operators from Sicily in Calabria. After yesterday’s meeting the ministry of Development in order to avoid the transfer of the workers from 24 October to Makes (because of the sale of the contract Enel expired in December) concluded with a stalemate and with a postponement to tomorrow of the negotiations in Rome, the trade unions have declared the two-day strike starting today.
Almaviva Contact, in a note, considers unacceptable forms of protest which fall outside the law, such as those underway in Palermo.
