In April, exports outside the EU fell by 2.2% – TGCOM

– As seen a few days ago, in March exports have yet another positive change bringing the trade balance of the country to four billion euro . The March figure was an important contribution came from trade to countries outside the EU, an indicator that in April showed, however, a negative change.

As noted by Istat, in fact, in the fourth month of the trade flows with countries outside the Union have been a decline of 2% for exports and an increase of 1.5% for imports. If instead you take into account the first quarter of 2015 and the last of 2014 can be seen growths for both streams: + 4.8% + 4.5 for exports and for imports.

On annual exports was affected by an increase of 12.2%, a result of an increase in all components (especially that of the intermediate products, + 15.7%, and that of durable consumer goods, up 13.5%) excluding energy (-1.7%).

The trade balance still travels in positive territory. If you consider the month of April, the balance stood at € 2,652 million, while for the period January-April 19.1 million euro.

A monthly result in the decrease of two percentage points of the market to foreign countries have been negative performance recorded for capital goods, which fell by 6.8%, and for energy, down 5.4%. Up 5% they have shown the consumer durables, while a milder growth was reported by non-durables, 1.9%, and intermediate ones, +1%.

trading partner for growth are the United States, to which the exports in April rose by + 36.4%. Significant growth was also dlele sales to China, up 17.9%, and to the countries of the EDA (or the Dynamic Asian Economies, then Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea), +12 , 5%. Collapsing sales to Japan and Russia, -6.6% and -29.5%.
