ROME (Reuters) – Istat announced that in April the balance of foreign trade outside Europe showed a surplus of 2.586 billion euro, which is compared to the surplus of 1,637 billion in the same month of 2014.
Istat stresses that the surplus in the exchange of non-energy products was 5.6 billion euro, compared to 5.1 billion in April 2014.
“In the last quarter, the economic momentum in exports to countries outside the EU are largely confirms positive (+ 4.8%) and is more intense (+ 5.2%), net of the decrease of energy ( -2.8%). Among the non-energy products, the growth in sales of capital goods is more pronounced (+9.6%). “
