15:56 – Alitalia divorces Air France-KLM: to communicate is the same Italian company, explaining that it will not renew its partnership and related agreements joint venture ancillary linking the two companies and which expire in 2017. Those agreements, he says the managing director Silvano Cassano, “are no longer profitable or commercially or from that strategy. And now favor the other party”.

The details of the partnership, Cassano continues, “were negotiated when Alitalia was in a very different position, with the result that the same agreements, in their current form, they favor the other party”.

What foresaw the partnership – The agreement governing passenger services operated by the three carriers between Italy and France (and beyond) and between Italy and the Netherlands ( and over), and the marketing, sale and distribution services Cargo Belly Alitalia operated by Air France-KLM, precise note of Alitalia. The original agreements – adds the Italian company – were defined by CAI Alitalia in 2009 and 2010, in a very different economic climate then, and were subsequently transferred to Alitalia SAI in January of 2015.
