Berlin, June 3 – The German economy will grow ‘slightly less of expectations this year. The Bundesbank cut its forecast estimating a growth of 1.7% for the current year and 1.4% next. The institute also provides for a 1.8% growth in 2018. In its latest estimates the German central bank had indicated an increase in GDP of 1.8% in 2016 and 1.7% in 2017. Forecasts Bundesbank are in line with those government officials and are slightly more ‘optimistic than the estimates of the international Monetary Fund (+ 1.5%) and other German economic institutes (+ 1.6%). For the Bundesbank, inflation and ‘waiting up slightly by 0.2% this year and marked acceleration in the next two years: consumer prices are indeed expected to rise by 1.5% in 2017 and dell’ 1.7% in 2018..
