MILAN, January 28 (Reuters) – Fiat Chrysler (Fca) aims to close the IPO of 10% of Ferrari and the spin-off of the remaining 80% stake in 2015, and, if there were to succeed, it will be for regulatory reasons.
He said the CEO Sergio Marchionne during a call with analysts on the results of the quarter.
“We aim to close all by 2015, if not do it will be for regulatory reasons,” Marchionne responded to people asking how long he meant to elapse between the placement and the spinoff.
The CEO said the IPO numbers will not change.
“We have already discussed the issue, the placement of 10% of the capital and the distribution of 80% is the right mix.”
