ROMA , June 17 (Reuters) – House searches of the Guardia di Finanza are underway between Rai, Mediaset, La7 and Infront as part of an investigation of the Rome prosecutors who investigated 44 sees between leaders and officials of the four companies with for allegedly entrusted contracts to a contractor in exchange for bribes.
This was reported by a judicial source, adding that there are about 60 the searches being carried out by the core of the tax police of yellow flames.
According to the Roman prosecutor Paolo Ielo, the entrepreneur owner of the company in question, accused of corruption, he would pay the bribes through over-invoicing for jobs that were assigned.
The suspects Rai, allegedly committed the offense in the performance of a public service, they are accused of complicity in corruption. The other suspects are to respond instead of the crime of embezzlement.
It is not been possible for the moment to have a comment from Rai and Mediaset.
