For CGIA Mestre only Spain has done worse … Since 2004 – the Newspaper

Rome Dear, dear indeed Italy. The beautiful country offers citizens the highest increases in public tariffs: water, waste electricity, rail transport and urban.

And the icing on the cake are the increases in motorway tariffs which apparently were not enough as for 2015 are ready for renewed increases tolls as dictated by custom that involves a traditional Sting during the holidays between the end and beginning of the year. In some cases, as for the Rome-Pescara the hypothesis of increase is of a euro and 60 in more.

The first accounts made them the CGIA Mestre. Between 2010 and 2014, only Spain did worse with an average increase of 23.7 percent. While the European average was 11.8 Italy recorded a handsome 19.1. With the transition from the Tares Tari the increase amounted to 12.2 even though inflation rose only 0.3.

In general, in the last 10 years if inflation rose by 20.5 costs instead jumped, unjustifiably, to the stars: 79.5 for more water, more than 70.8 for waste , more than 48.2 for the electrical energy. The tolls increased by 46.5 but as mentioned not enough. And yet more rail transport 46.3, taxi service and postal services 31.6 27.9.

The Secretary of the CGIA, Giuseppe Bertolussi, stressed that these increases do not correspond absolutely to improve services . “Today we are called upon to pay more but the quality of the services provided has not undergone improvements – says Bertolussi- We hope that with the reduction in oil prices recorded in recent months, the coming year will bring a reduction in tariffs.” The Cgia emphasizes the iniquity of the inflation rates for the disposal of waste, inexplicable given that because of the crisis has decreased the amount of garbage produced.

The associations of consumers, Codacons and Federconsumatori, they instead accounts in your pocket to families. The price increases have cost an average of € 324 per family in 2014, points out Codacons. Only waste that has cost 15 euro more per household. To the increases indicated by CGIA Mestre are added those canteens and school fees, more or less 48 euro per year. The cost of gas has dropped by 6 percent and also the insurance for the car, fell by 8 euro. The predictions for the future are even more then black. Federconsumatori and Adusbef provide further blow in 2015 that will suck 677 euro more per family. For consumer associations increases planned for next year have “a connotation extremely speculative or resulting from inefficiencies of the system or even worse under pressure political lobbying (like highways).” Consumers are concerned especially the increases in local additional taxes, calculated at about 142 euro. Finally, the spectrum of the adju stment to 3.3 of Tasi which would involve a greater outlay for family of 135 euro. For the announced increases in tolls consumers have already applied for a moratorium.
