BTP, spread to 150 basis points, the first time since Dec. 16, tensions on Greece – Reuters Italy


       

MILAN, June 15 (Reuters) – The spread BTP / Bund touched 150 basis points in the early stages of today’s meeting, for the first time since Dec. 16, tensions linked to the break yesterday in negotiations for the release of new financial aid to Greece.


       

At the opening, platform Tradeweb, the yield spread between Italian and German ten-year stood at 150 basis points from 138 the previous Friday.


       

In parallel with the rate on 10-year BTP dates back to 2.31% from 2.23% last closing; that the 30-year BTP – and opening almost gives two figures – rising to 3.47% from 3.40% on Friday.


       

Last week the yield on ten-year Italian had risen to 2.42%, while that on the thirtieth anniversary of up to 3.49%, respectively, the highest since the beginning and end of November 2014.
