According to the Ministry of Transport, May saw an increase of 10.78% in registrations to 146,582 vehicles. Fca marked a rise of 13.4% to 41,780 vehicles. The market share amounted to 28.5% from 27.84% in May 2014. According to ANFIA (producers’ association that does not include Fca) the month of May is not far from the levels of 1993. also positive order intake in May, with about 143,000 new contracts, an increase of 8.5% over the same month of 2014, according to estimates Anfia and Unrae association of foreign firms in Italy. According to dealers, meeting Federauto, the market driven by domestic demand, however, is supported by the scrapping campaign funded by the car manufacturers. Unrae said that the data of the last months is positive, but does not represent a reversal of the trend and points out that there are 9.5 million cars in Italy with more than 15 years. More …
