INPS: in 6 months +74,502 stable contracts, -84% on 2015 – Il Sole 24 Ore

In the first half of 2016 were signed 845,392 contracts of indefinite duration (including the transformation of fixed-term relationships and apprenticeship) and terminations of permanent contracts was 770,890, with a balance positive of 74,502 units. The fact – noted by the Observatory INPS – is worse than 84% compared to the positive balance of 468,186 stable contracts in the first six months of 2015. Therefore, continues to decline the positive balance of new contracts with increasing protections indefinitely.

in the first half of 2016, in the private sector, there is, overall, a balance between new hires and terminations amounted to +516,000, lower than in the corresponding period of 2015 (+628,000) and higher than that recorded in the first six months of 2014 (+423,000). In total, the assumptions in January-June 2016 were 2,572,000, a decrease of 302,000 units compared to the same period of 2015 (- 10.5%). This slowing – reads observatory INPS on precarious – has only involved the permanent contracts: – 326,000, equal to – 33.4% in the first half of 2015. The decline is attributable to the strong increase of the open-ended contracts registered in 2015, the year in which such recruitment were eligible full abatement of social security contributions payable by the employer for a period of three years.

For fixed-term contracts, the first six months of 2016, there are 1,808,000 assumptions, in line with 2015 (+ 0 , 6%) and an increase compared to 2014 (+ 2.7%). The assumptions on training contracts were 113,000 and have recorded an increase on 2015 (+ 14.4%). In relation to the same period of 2015, terminations overall result decreased by 8.5%. This effect is found to a greater extent in relation to permanent contracts.

INPS announced also that in January-June 2016 were sold 69.9 million vouchers for the payment of ancillary work performance, with a nominal value of 10 Euros, an increase compared to the first half of 2015, equal to + 40.1% . In the first half of 2015, the growth in the use of vouchers, compared to 2014, was equal to 74.7%.
