Still down the price of houses: -4.2% in 2014, down 11.5% compared to … – TGCOM

– In 2014, housing prices fell by 4.2% compared to 2013 (when the average annual change was -5.7%) . Detects Istat emphasizing that the decline is due to a 5% reduction in the prices of existing homes (after -7.2% in 2013) and 2.2% of the price of new ones (was -2.4 % in 2013).

Compared to 2010, house prices have fallen by 11.5%. But the future seems to be better. The statistical institute observes that the decline in the last year has declined and there were signs of recovery in traded volumes (trend confirmed by the Revenue, whose data indicate an increase of 3.6%).

In the last quarter of 2014, based on preliminary estimates, the prices of homes purchased by families, both for residential purposes and for investment, fell by 0.8% from the previous quarter and the second , 9% against the same period of 2013.
