Salaries firm, over 7 million await the renewal of the contract – The Messenger

Contract retribution firm in March, while confirming a 1% increase from the corresponding period of 2014. The increase in salaries in the private sector ( + 1.5% trend) was offset to the freezing of salaries in the public sector.

The sectors in March present the trend increases of pay greater telecommunications (3.5%), rubber, plastic and non-metallic mineral processing (3.3%), energy and petroleum and mineral extraction (0%). There are variations void in the trade and in all sectors of public administration.

March marks then a record in terms of waiting for a contract renewal. Again according to ISTAT, there were 40 contracts, representing 7.3 million workers, pending renewal (of which 2.9 million in Pa). In late March, the share of employees in the queue for renewal is of 56.9% in the total economy and 44.4% in the private sector. The pending renewal has soared to more than 3 years (on average is now 39.3 months for all the employees and 23.7 months for those in the private sector).
