New pensions declining: in the first quarter of -34.5% compared to 2015 – Il Sole 24 Ore

in the first quarter 2016 new pensions paid by INPS were just over 95 thousand in decrease of 34.5% over the same period of 2015 (145,618). The data appears in the last Observatory INPS on retirement flows, which attributes the collapse of the new pension treatments to two factors: the increase in life expectancy (four months for all) and the entry into force, in the course of 2015, the new retirement requirements for women (from 63.9 to 65.7 years).

From January this year, in fact, the social security rules stipulate the further increase in the age requirement planned for the old-age pension for employees, equal to 18 months, and one year for those autonomous. On average, the mean monthly allowances paid amounted to euro 942 euro, compared to 995 euro average 2015 also decreased checks over 3 thousand euro a month paid into the pension fund employees: 3,021 compared to 4,846 granted in the first quarter of 2015 .

Cheques paid to farmers were 6,636 (9,631 in the same period of 2015) while those paid to the artisans were 11,145 ( 18,670 in the first quarter 2015). The new pensions paid to dealers were 8,226 (14,245 a year ago), while those paid to parasubordinati were 5,935 (8,178 in the first quarter 2015).
