The increase in requirements for access to the pension taken early in the year has an impact on the liquidations of new checks: in first quarter – according to data released today by INPS – checks cleared in the complex were 95,381 with a decrease of 34.5% compared to 145,618 in the first quarter of 2015. the figure was affected above all the increase in life expectancy (four months longer for all) while for women in the private sector recorded an increase of new checks because between late 2015 and early 2016 have left those born in the first quarter of 1952 remained blocked until then by Fornero reform. There was a substantial drop for early pensions (the requirement is increased from 42 years and six months for men to 42 years and 10 months, while for women just a year younger) rose from 38,314 in the first quarter of 2015 to 20,629 in the first three months of this year (46.1%).
A significant decline has also had to social allowances, those granted to old people without income or very low income, increased from 13,033 in 7501 (-42.4%). To receive welfare benefits are in fact needed 65 years and seven months of age (65 and 3 months until the end of 2015). The INPS data do not surprise the unions again demand to introduce greater flexibility in output taking into account the different jobs and without penalizing workers too. The Government is committed to finding a solution that is sustainable for public finances in the long run, and seems to look above all to the pension loan probably limiting it only to workers who lose their jobs a few years from retirement and with a company contribution.
