Ruble scares in Russia, queues at shops – The XIX Century

(ANSA) – MOSCOW, DECEMBER 17 – Code in the Soviet yesterday in large shopping centers to spend the largest possible number of rubles in the fear that they lose further value, as happened in 1998, on the eve of default. People stormed the shopping center facing files even five hours in the night, leaving many empty shelves. Because of the collapse of the ruble the largest distributors of foreign cars have suspended the supply to dealers, who in turn have frozen sales.
