Fishing: unions-Federpesca signed renewal collective labor agreement, wages + 5.8% – ANSA.it

(ANSAmed) – ROME, DECEMBER 16 – was signed today the renewal of the collective labor agreement for the crews of sea fishing of Federpesca, which provides a total wage increase of 5.8%. The news Fai, Flai and UilaPesca, stressing the importance, given the extremely critical moment for the industry.

A renewal with important gains for workers, from the results of operations, explain the three unions, reminiscent of the main contents of the agreement reached: salary increase divided into two tranches, the first of 3.5% with effect from January 1, 2015 and the second by 2.3% from 2016; increased from 14 to 16 euro daily allowance for additional work on holidays; from 15 to 20 euro per month the amount of remuneration payable to workers for companies that do not adhere to the system of bilateralism. In terms of safety, the training hours increased from 12 to 16, by retracting implicitly fishing among the high-risk activities; then there is the commitment of the signatory parties to define a certification of hours of night work carried out by the board, to enter the fishery as arduous work. Training finally rose from 30 to 36 hours of paid leave for each worker for participating in training and retraining, as they descend from 24 to 20 months required for worker embarked as hub for acquiring the status of sailor .
