– The European Central Bank President Mario Draghi was attacked early in his press conference in Frankfurt. A girl is climbing on the table in front of the president rovesciandogli him a bag of confetti. The conference was interrupted and the girl immediately blocked by security. After a few minutes Draghi has taken place with a quiet, “We continue where I stopped.”
“Stop the dictatorship of the ECB”, shouted the protester movement Blockupy which was launched on the stage where the ECB president Mario Draghi had just started talking, before being blocked by bodyguards.
“ECB measures are coming to the real economy” – Despite the encore, the number one Eurotower has not lost his aplomb. After shooting the press conference, Draghi said: “We see that our monetary policy measures are coming to the real economy.”
