ROME, July 29 (Reuters) – Enel Green Power’s Board of Directors today approved the accounts for the first half of 2015 closed with a net profit of group 342 million, an increase of 16.7% over the same period last year.
The company reports a statement of renewables that is part of the Enel group which reiterated that “in order to optimize the portfolio, EGP is considering the interest and convenience of the sale of the generating Portuguese”.
The title improves after the results with an increase of up to 1,918 euro, more than 1.5%, compared with a negative index.
EBITDA for the period was 1.078 billion euro, up 20.6% compared to 894 million in the first half of 2014.
The CEO Francesco Venturini commenting on the performance of the company noted that the results “confirm the validity of the growth strategy of the company and capture the benefits from the pursuit of geographical and technological diversification.”
Today at 17.30 (Italian time) the results will be presented in a conference call.
