Italy, negotiated wages in June + 0.1% on the month, up 1.1% on year – Istat – Reuters Italy

 ROME, July 24 (Reuters) - A June contractual hourly wages increased by 0.1% on the month and rose 1.1% on year, announced by the ISTAT. In May, the salaries were unchanged in quarterly terms and had risen by 1.1% on the same period of 2014. In June the index Nic consumer prices rose 0.2% on both a cyclical and on year. Overall, in the first six months of 2015 the average hourly earnings grew by 1.1% compared to the same period of 2014. Istat stresses that in June, with reference to the main macro sectors, in June the hourly contractual wages recorded an increase trend of '1.5% for employees in the private sector and no change for those in public administration. The sectors in June present the trend increases more are: agriculture (3.9%); energy and petroleum, mining minerals, rubber, plastic and non-metallic mineral processing (3.0%); engineering (2.7%). Register variations void in the credit and insurance, of food, beverages and tobacco and in all sectors of public  administration. Among the contracts covered by the survey, in June are not reflected and no new agreements expired. In late June, the share of employees in the queue for renewal is of 40.3% in the total economy and by 22.9% in the private sector. The pending renewal for workers with expired contract is on average 52.2 months for all sectors and 34.7 months for those in the private sector.
