The world wine imports in the first five months of 2015 moves between high and low. Looking at Russia, the decline of Italian wines has been significant and similar to the average, with a -36% in value, best of France, which suffered a 45% reduction. In the US market, however, the performance of Italian wines are above average for the market, an increase in volume of 10%, driven by the Prosecco which reached 48% of larger quantities exported. The same is taking place in the UK market, with a + 64% of the quantities imported in this period of 2015.
