Greece does not pay the IMF. Today new Eurogroup – The Messenger


 (AGI) – Negotiations on Greece continue to the bitter end to find a last-minute spells the failure of Athens.
The Eurogroup last night is over calling a new meeting for this morning, slipped, then, in the afternoon on “request of several ministers” as announced by President Jeroen Dijsselbloem. There are signs of a thaw between ministers although lapidary statements of German Chancellor Angela Merkel who has effectively closed the door to a third bailout of Athens before the referendum on Sunday, leaving little hope. Meanwhile, the International Monetary Fund has confirmed that Greece has not paid the debt of 1.6 billion euro expiring at midnight. In this regard, the German newspaper Bild, writes that Athens has asked the Fund to the postponement of the payment of the debt, without specifying its sources.
