Renzi, $ 23 billion on Industry 4.0 – ANSA.it

(ANSA) – MILAN – The bet of Matteo Renzi is to become Italy, the ” fatherland “of opportunity and possibility” for the italians but also for foreign investors. A bet on which the government now points out of their own pocket around 23 billion euros in four years (13 billion of tax incentives, and 10 of investments).
The chairman of the Board (which will go on tour to present the national plan for Industry 4.0 with the minister for economic Development Carlo Calenda, came to Milan to tell what’s going on, because it is innovation that plays the future, and because Milan is going great in the relationship with the other european capitals,” and is “a point of reference for Italy”. And he did – returning from the Un general assembly in New York, and by the opening of the milan fashion week – in front of an audience of industrialists after that in the morning, met for the first time in the director’s cabin.
In practice, he explained, Calenda, it is a sort of a general meeting of shareholders (which include the presidency of the Council, the ministries of Economy, economic Development, Education, Labour, agriculture, the Environment, the Polytechnic universities of Bari, Milan and Turin and the Scuola Superiore Sant’anna of Pisa, the research Centers, the Cdp, Confindustria, and, more in general, the world of business and economy, unions) you will meet one or two times a year to evaluate what is not working. The cabin is used because this is a plane “concrete”, we wanted to specify Renzi, with a strong commitment on the part of the government but where the commitment of all. The prediction made by Calenda is over 10 billion of private investments in only 2017. “In hearing the presentation is a desire to get to work right away – he joked -. I will soon be in conditions to return in company to create Gdp, which among other things, there is a certain need”. “We believe that Italy has a future extraordinary. It is not autogenic training” has assured, convinced that “will work if the women and the men who make up the company will accept the challenge of change”.
A part of this change relates to fiscal incentives which will be “horizontal” without the need of stamps with ministerial or similar. “Incentives to call I don’t do any more,” said Calenda, which has instead promised new defiscalizzazioni to encourage “the exchange of wage and productivity” (which, according to the president of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia is “a matter of survival for the Italian industrial system”). “Change the mindset – according to Renzi – is the work that we’re trying to do”, and trying to make it to the Italian not to copy Germany or other Countries because Italy is different. Of course, this new phase will create new winners and losers” but “you have to choose the courage.” And of course you can do it. An example is that of Barack Obama, who will be remembered in history for how he handled the economic crisis” in the United States. The president of the Council of entrepreneurs, has also taken a few pebbles out of the shoe as when he claimed that “taxes continue to go down for three years and will fall still more.” Then he dismissed the cutting of the estimates of the Italian Gdp taken from the Oecd pointing out that “being reviewed downward all the international estimates.
I Am confident and optimistic, and Italy is not so good as I would like to go but it goes a little better than was a few years ago”.
Positive judgment on the plan of the president of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia, because “we have to ride the fourth industrial revolution”. “Share” the plan, he explained, “because it poses a question of the medium-term, but also a policy of the factors on the horizontal and not a choice of the industry, because the industry 4.0 relates to all sectors”.(ANSA).
