The Mps Foundation, with the support of the advisor Spencer Stuart, candida, officially, Alessandro Falciai, a former member of the board of directors, to the presidency of the Bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The news is contained in a note from the Foundation that “will propose the name chosen at the shareholders ‘meeting called for 24 November”.
Falciai, joined the board of directors of Mps in April 2015, in the intentions of the Foundation should replace Massimo Tononi, the current president already resigned, to which the Foundation is chaired by Marcello Clarich he reiterates, “a heart-felt appreciation for the work carried out in a delicate moment for the bank”.

“given the high profile of this nomination – continues the note – and also the in-depth knowledge of the bank that Falciai has gained in recent years in the quality of the board as well as chairman of the nominating committee, it is believed that such contact may converge on a consensus of the members of the Mps Bank”.
Falciai, remember the Foundation, and has a degree in aerospace Engineering and, after working in the european space Agency and then acquired a series of other experiences as ceo of Industrial Electronics, a company of the Mediaset group, in 2000, she founded the Dmt until the merger with Towers Mediaset.
Since 2012 it has developed its participation in the holding company Millenium Partecipazioni, hinging in three areas: real estate, private equity and finance.
