Increase the recruitment, but also increase the unemployed: this means that the possibility of work invite again young people in search of work

In September, the estimate of employment grows compared to August (+0,2%, +45 thousand units), recovering the decline recorded in the month of July.

In the period July-September there was substantial stability of employment compared to the previous quarter; signs of growth are observed for the employees, both permanent and term, and the people of 50 years or more, while significantly decrease in the independent.

The increase affects both the components of gender and the different age classes with the exception of young people aged 15-24 years.

The greater participation in the labour market in the month of September, both in terms of employment for both people in search of work, associated with the decrease in the estimate of the inactive between 15 and 64 years (by 0.9% or eur -127 thousand).
The decline affects women and men and involves all age classes. The rate of inactivity falls to 34.8 per cent, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points.

In the July-September quarter to the substantial stability of employment (+11 thousand) is accompanied by a slight growth of unemployed persons (+0,2%, +5 thousand) and a decrease of the inactive (by 0.3% or eur -45 thousand).
On an annual basis the trend is the increase in the number of employed persons (+1.2% on September 2015, equal to +265 thousand).
The growth trend is attributable almost exclusively to permanent employees (+264 thousand) and is manifested both in the male and female, focusing primarily among those over 50 (+384 thousand).
In the same period drops significantly inactive (-3,6%, equal to -508 thousand), and increase the unemployed (+3,4%, eur +98 million).
